Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Amazify Pro collects, uses, and protects information when you use our Windows desktop application and the amazifypro.org website. Amazify Pro is operated by Growthency, and the data controller for the personal data described here is reachable at support@amazifypro.org. We take privacy seriously: Amazify Pro is a local-first tool, which means the overwhelming majority of your data — your projects, videos, API keys, and platform tokens — never leaves your computer.
1. Quick summary
- We collect only what's necessary to run website accounts, operate the license system, and process payments.
- Your video projects, scripts, renders, thumbnails, AI API keys, and social platform tokens all stay on your local computer. They are never transmitted to our servers.
- AI API keys you paste (Claude, OpenAI, Gemini, Groq, OpenRouter, LongCat, ElevenLabs, and others) are stored in an encrypted local credential store on your machine — we never see them.
- For payments and refunds we use Paddle, a Merchant of Record that handles all billing data on our behalf. We never receive your card number.
- License activation uses your computer's hardware fingerprint (a one-way hash of OS-level machine identifiers). It is not personally identifying on its own.
- We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing. Ever.
2. Data we collect
Website account data
If you create an account on amazifypro.org, that account runs on Supabase (email/password authentication). We collect:
- Email address — used to sign you in, deliver your license key, and respond to support inquiries.
- Name — the display name you enter at signup.
- WhatsApp number (optional) — only if you choose to provide one, used solely so we can reach you about your account or order.
- Password — stored by Supabase as a salted hash; we never see or store your plaintext password.
License data
- License key — generated when you purchase a plan, bound to your machine fingerprint.
- Machine fingerprint — a one-way hash of your computer's stable identifiers. We cannot reverse it into the original hardware IDs.
- Activation events — timestamp, IP address, and app version for each license activate / validate / deactivate call. Used to enforce the one-license-one-PC rule and detect key sharing.
Payment data
All payment processing is handled by Paddle.com, acting as our Merchant of Record. Paddle receives your card or bank details — we do not. Paddle's privacy policy is at paddle.com/legal/privacy. We only receive a transaction ID, the email address you used at checkout, and the plan you bought (Starter, Growth, or MAX; lifetime or monthly).
Support correspondence
When you email support@amazifypro.org, we keep the thread — including any screenshots or logs you choose to attach — so we can resolve your issue and reference it if you write again.
3. Data stored on your computer only (never sent to our servers)
Everything below lives on your hard drive and only your hard drive. Uninstall Amazify Pro and it's gone (your output folder with rendered videos remains until you delete it manually).
- Projects — every video project, script, product list, job history, schedule, and analytics record is stored in a local SQLite database on your PC.
- AI API keys — keys you paste for Claude, OpenAI (GPT-4o, DALL-E, Whisper, TTS), Google Gemini, Groq, OpenRouter, LongCat, ElevenLabs, D-ID, Pexels, Pixabay, and any other provider are stored in an encrypted credential store using your operating system's secure storage (Electron safeStorage backed by Windows DPAPI, with keytar). They are used only to call those providers directly from your machine and are never transmitted to our servers.
- Platform tokens — the OAuth tokens that connect your YouTube channels, TikTok account, and Meta (Instagram / Facebook) pages (see section 4).
- Rendered videos, thumbnails, narration audio, captions, and B-roll cache — written to the output folders you choose.
- Settings, brand presets, prompt customisations, webhook URLs, and theme preference.
These files are stored in standard Windows app-data folders and protected by your operating system's user-account permissions. We do not sync any of this to the cloud. When you publish a video, it travels directly from your computer to the platform you chose — not through us.
4. Platform connections (YouTube, TikTok, Meta)
To publish videos, Amazify Pro connects to third-party platform APIs — YouTube (Google), TikTok Content Posting API, and the Meta Graph API for Instagram Reels and Facebook Page Reels — using access tokens you authorize through each platform's own consent screen.
- Tokens are stored encrypted, locally on your machine, alongside your other credentials. We never receive or store them.
- Uploads, analytics queries, and channel lookups go directly from your computer to the platform's API.
- You can revoke access at any time from inside the app (disconnect the channel) or from the platform's own security settings (Google Account permissions, TikTok connected apps, Meta Business settings).
- Your use of each platform through Amazify Pro is also governed by that platform's own privacy policy and terms.
5. How we use data
- To operate your account — sign-in, license key delivery, and order history on amazifypro.org.
- To operate your license — activate, validate, and deactivate license seats; enforce the one-PC-per-key rule; honour "Deactivate & release seat" requests.
- To process payments and refunds — through Paddle.
- To provide support — when you email us, we read your message and reply.
- To detect abuse — aggregate IP and fingerprint patterns help us identify license key sharing and activation fraud.
- To send transactional emails — your license key, refund confirmations, and payment receipts. We do not send marketing emails without explicit opt-in.
We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise disclose your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes.
6. Third parties
We use a small number of third-party services strictly to operate the product:
- Paddle — payment processing, tax compliance, invoicing, and refunds (Merchant of Record).
- Supabase — authentication and database hosting for website accounts (email/password sign-in).
- GitHub — hosts the installer downloads at github.com/Growthency/amazifypro/releases; GitHub's own privacy policy applies when you download.
Separately, the desktop app connects — from your machine, with your own credentials — to the AI providers, TTS engines, stock-media services, and publishing platforms you configure (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, Groq, OpenRouter, LongCat, ElevenLabs, D-ID, Pexels, Pixabay, YouTube, TikTok, Meta, and Amazon storefronts you scrape). Those connections are direct; we are not a party to them and never see the traffic. Each provider's own privacy policy governs the data you send it.
We do not share data with advertisers, marketing networks, or data brokers.
7. Cookies & analytics
This website uses no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Your theme preference (dark/light) is stored in your browser's local storage and never sent anywhere. Supabase sets the session cookies/tokens strictly necessary to keep you signed in to your account. We do not run third-party ad pixels on this site.
8. Data retention
- Website account data (email, name, optional WhatsApp) is retained while your account exists and deleted within 30 days of an account-deletion request, subject to legal retention requirements.
- License records (email + key + fingerprint + activation events) are retained while your license is active, plus 24 months afterwards for tax and audit purposes.
- Payment records are retained by Paddle and by us as long as required by law (typically 7 years for tax).
- Support emails are kept for 24 months after the last reply, then deleted.
- Everything stored locally on your machine is under your control — delete it whenever you like.
9. Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)
If you are in the EU, EEA, UK, or California — and as a matter of policy, wherever you are — you have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of all personal data we hold about you;
- Rectify — correct inaccurate data;
- Erase — request deletion ("right to be forgotten") subject to legal retention requirements;
- Port — receive your data in a machine-readable format;
- Object / restrict — limit how we process your data;
- Withdraw consent — at any time, for any processing based on consent;
- Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.
To exercise any of these rights, email support@amazifypro.org with the subject "Privacy request". We respond within 30 days.
10. Security
We protect data with industry-standard practices: HTTPS everywhere, Supabase-managed authentication with hashed passwords, encrypted local credential storage in the desktop app (OS-level safeStorage), one-way hashed machine fingerprints, and least-privilege access to the license backend. No internet-connected system is 100% secure, but keeping your sensitive data local by design removes the biggest risk: we can't leak keys and tokens we never hold.
11. Children's privacy
Amazify Pro is not directed at children. You must be at least 18 to purchase a license, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a minor has provided us personal data, email us and we will delete it.
12. Contact
All questions — privacy, GDPR / CCPA, security, general support — go to one inbox: support@amazifypro.org. Use a clear subject line (e.g. "Privacy request", "GDPR data access", "Security disclosure") for the fastest routing.
